Nord Pool is one of the world's largest and most liquid power markets, facilitating the trading of electricity in the Nordic and Baltic regions of Europe.
Aalto has access to daily and hourly Nord Pool market data of the day-ahead market (Elspot), including:
- Hourly spot prices and buy and sell volumes for all intraday areas, system price, volumes at system prices.
- Transmission capacities per hour between the different day-ahead bidding areas.
- Planned cross-border day-ahead power flow per hour.
- Week-ahead transmission capacity prognosis.
